Project Payments Fee Preview
Illustrative Paddle Auto economics. No fee is charged by the current no-money simulator.
1. Current preview
The Project Payments simulator does not accept money, create seller earnings, or charge a VibeNest fee. The figures below are planning estimates only; they are not a quote or an effective fee agreement.
2. Intended Paddle Auto pricing
- VibeNest: planned 1% of Eligible Sales, with no additional fixed VibeNest charge.
- Paddle: its public pay-as-you-go price is currently 5% + 50¢ per Checkout transaction. Paddle states that products under $10 should contact it for custom pricing.
- Partner/custom terms: may differ and will replace these estimates where applicable.
3. Eligible Sales
The intended 1% base is the confirmed product price after discounts, excluding sales tax, and reversed when the corresponding sale is refunded or charged back. Currency conversion, rounding, negative balances, invoicing, and the collection mechanism remain subject to a future partner agreement. VibeNest will not simulate an undocumented deduction from a creator’s Paddle balance.

These examples exclude tax, foreign exchange, refunds, chargebacks, reserves, and negotiated pricing. A final checkout and seller dashboard must label the breakdown as an estimate until provider settlement data is available.
5. Small-price warning
The fixed 50¢ component has a disproportionate effect on small transactions. The intended UI shows a strong warning below $5 and an amber warning from $5 to $9.99, and suggests bundles, prepaid units, or monthly aggregation rather than a separate checkout for every low-value action.
6. When a fee becomes effective
No VibeNest Project Payments fee becomes effective until Paddle confirms the Partner mechanism in writing, the applicable fee schedule is versioned, and the creator accepts that exact version. Future fee changes will not be inferred from this draft and will not silently activate live payments.
